Abstract
Language learning apps for indigenous languages differ from the
mainstream language apps in that they are not targeted at
commercial success and might need to accommodate different
linguistic and cultural aspects than the most learnt languages.
The present paper considers the present and past Nahuatl
language apps, some of which were discontinued, and asks what
would be necessary for such apps to achieve long-term survival.
