ABSTRACT
Mobility is a fundamental right of all people, crucial for social
participation, as recognized also by the UN Convention on the
Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Despite this, persons with
disabilities often encounter significant barriers in public spaces
and transportation. This paper emphasizes the importance of
physical accessibility, digital tools, and stakeholder collaboration
to foster inclusivity. Using mixed-methods approach, including
data cataloguing, field verification, surveys, and workshops, the
study highlights the need for comprehensive data integration and
accessible infrastructure to support independent mobility for
persons with disabilities. It is important to approach and develop
mobility solutions for people with disabilities, which includes
methodology, standards, pilot testing, the establishment of the
entire system in the country and the transfer of knowledge to all
participants in the process
