By combining<br \/>optimization and sampling methods, as well as making plans<br \/>based on several statistical samples, we estimate the real<br \/>values for the required resources and show how the sample<br \/>values converge towards the real values. Our approach<br \/>combines machine-learning based demand predictions, for<br \/>the number of passengers, and a route optimization engine<br \/>that assigns the passengers into shared shuttle vehicles.
